Course description:

This program is designed to build both technical and business skills, a combination that is increasingly valued by today's employers. Through the choice of electives, students can design a broad program that touches on several IT disciplines or narrow focus to deepen the knowledge in their niche area of information technology, including networking, web development, project management, or information security. People choosing this specialization is often pursuing entry or senior level technical specialist positions in a variety of IT related fields.

Entry requirements:

Applicant should be a high school diploma or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution and must be at least 24 years old. They are expected to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently and whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB), or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The only exception to this requirement is reserved for learners who have earned a postsecondary degree from a U.S. accredited university. The minimum acceptable TOEFL scores is 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or a score of 79 for those completing the Internet-based examination. The minimum acceptable MELAB score is 80, and the minimum acceptable score for the IELTS is 6.5.

Applicants must complete the admission application and submit an official transcript for the highest degree conferred, as well as any post-degree course work. They should submit resume, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, and/or other relevant material may also be considered for applicants who do not meet minimum admission standards.
