Great...go for it!
GRE and TOEFL are required for the admission process. I prepared by myself and did not take a counselor or coaching. Ofcourse, I had to get a visa. The interview was short and sweet. Getting tickets was easy. I flew British airways. I did not get student concession but I got excess baggage allowance. It was a good flight. No immigrations issue if you declare everything. No meet or greet program.
Scholarships are there in research degrees.
The program is well structured. I don't know yet about how good the professors are, I am still new.
I live off campus. The library is huge and has good access to literatures and books. Sports facilities are up to the mark. Part time jobs can be challenging. The weather is cold. There is an international society which celebrates Indian festivals.
There is a placement cell. Internationals do get a job although the process is difficult. I am not very sure about the campus placement process and what they do. There is alumni service and they do help in job search.
Located in Maryland and District Of Columbia.
