Enrolling for a Masters and then a PhD program at the University of California, Irvine was one of the best decisions in my life. The learning atmosphere at the university was very motivating and encouraged me to give my best.
I had completed my B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. I then applied for a M.S. in Embedded Systems at the University of California, Irvine. On its completion I enrolled for my PhD at the same university.
I was awarded Teaching Assistantship while at the university.
My research interests include reconfigurable computing, architecture for FPGAs, synthesis, physical design (floorplanning, placement and routing algorithms), runtime reconfiguration in FPGAs, and embedded system design methodologies. I enjoyed my studies and recieved grades A and A+ in all Systems graduate courses, 20042006. Dr. Elaheh Bozorgzadeh was my advisor, I was able to publish several papers under his guidance.
My tenure at the university includes varied experiences. I have worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and a Teaching Assistant. I have also had the opportunity to completed my Summer Intern at Switzerland, where I developed a software to automatically create programs for handling communication in synchronous Java.
