Getting an admit to the Kelley School Of Business was the best thing that could have happened to me! I am really excited and happy to study here. Future students interested in this School should be prepared to do a lot of independent study.
I had to give GMAT as that is required for an MBA program. I prepared using the reference books available in the stores and it was very useful. I need a VISA for entering the country. The tickets was not difficult as it was available at the point of time when I was trying to book for it. My airport is far off from my college and I dropped in at Indiana airport. I did not face any immigration issues and everything went off smoothly. I did not have any greet and meet service.
We get graduate assistantships mostly as ours is a business school.
I am really excited and happy to get this program admit. My professors are nice but it is mostly independent study with we asking them any doubts if we have any.
It is not easy for international students to get part time jobs but if they try hard they can find something. The night life is not that great but the weather is good. There are different clubs in our school like the finance club and Indian association. However we do celebrate Diwali and Holi quite nicely.
There is no placement cell as of such as the college is situated far off hence it is difficult for companies to come .However we do attend some career fairs orgainized for our students outside the campus which are really helpful and some of them are recommended from our alumni.
