Santa Clara University offers a great Masters program. I like the flexibility of the program and I can choose from many electives. California is a beautiful place to stay having the best weather among all the other states in US. I am enjoying my stay here and would advise students to apply to my university.
I had to write GRE, TOEFL for my admission to the university. I prepared using Books- Barrons, Few notes from classes (Borrowed it from friend). Did not go to any class/counseling. I needed a F1 VISA. Interview was Easy. SFO is a popular destination. Many flights are available. Came by Singapore airlines. No Immigration problems. No meet and greet service availed.
I like the flexibility of the program. I can choose from many electives. The program is very well structured. All the professors are good. Most of them have PhDs. Infrastructure of the college is very good.
I stay with my husband. Many jobs like Librarian are available on campus. It's easy to get one for international student as well. Social scene is upbeat. California has the best of the weathers among all the other states in US. We have a student organization called SWADES. It organizes many cultural events.
CS is available. It is very difficult now to get a job. Unless one has lot of experience. Good grades are a must. Alumni society is present though it's tough for anyone to get a job in these times. Activity is pretty low now. Though it is slowly picking up.
Located in California.
