My internship program at Indiana was a good program. The facilities offered by the university were really state-of-the-art. There is room for improvement in certain areas, though. On the whole, the program was good.
I had to write exams as part of my selection process. Required a visa, the interview was really difficult...but in the end I walked out with the visa. Got the Airline tickets easily...the service was fine, they also offered a student fare, but extra baggage was not allowed. I had to sort out a little problem at the immigration office, not a big deal. The university did not offer any Meet and Greet service.
I was happy with the program structure, my professor was a pretty learned guy and gave me all the support I needed. The research environment was good. I attended a few lectures and found them to be average...could have been delivered better, but the lecture halls themselves were great...well equipped with all the facilities. I had access to the library...it was moderate, sports facilities were good though.
The social life is pretty cool, night life is also good. Cant say how the weather would change the next minute...totally unpredictable !
