LA is fascinating! Go there. The internship program was good. The faculty who guided us were excellent...no two ways about it ! I learnt such a lot from them. On the whole, it was a good learning experience.

ratingSelection process and gaining admission

I didnt have to write any exams for my selection process, reference letters sufficed. I needed a visa. My visa interview was a pretty smooth affair and I got the visa easily. I was able to get the airline tickets easily. I flew Lufthansa/US Airways. The service was good, but no student concessions. Extra baggage as allowed. I landed at Los Angeles. No immigration issues. Found my own way to the university as it did not offer Meet and Greet.

The internship program was good. The faculty who guided us were excellent. During my program I had the chance to interact with other research scholars and found the experience rich and fruitful. I did not attend any lectures. I was given access to the libraries and to full sports facilities...it was great.

I stayed in a rented house. The social life and night life was fine. Weather was pleasant.
